The dog bowl and the blanket were lovely touches  - and the waterproof walking maps were very useful. We enjoyed exploring the island and finding remote stretches of  beaches  with their pink coloured sand.

This evening we sat on the wall in front of the cottage and watched the beautiful paddle ship – the “Waverley”.  If you wait until the “Waverley” pulls out of Millport harbour it goes straight  past the cottage and you get great pictures     B. Leight  Cleveland

On our last day there were 15 or so seals lying on the rocks opposite the cottage, easily visible using the binoculars. A  Wallbank.   Sutton Coldfield

The attention to detail in the cottage is amazing. Everything we could possibly need. We didn’t bring binoculars, but lo and behold, there they were on the shelf.  J  Burns.   Preston

The cottage is a great base to enjoy Cumbrae. We went fishing off Farland Point, hiked up to the Glaid Stone and cycled around the island.
