At Number 14 Clyde Street Millport, the Cozy “Fisherman’s Nook” is a ground-floor appartment, catering for two to three guests and one pet. It is accessed via a communal front door and hallway, serviving “Fisherman’s Nook” on the right and “The Inches” appartment to the left.

The cottage gives you everything you need for a lovely, comfortable stay. The cosy rooms are small but comfortable. With electric heating for your comfort and warmth and kitchen equipment to help you create some lovely meals to eat in front of our cosy fire. Wifi is available at the appartment. All the accommodation is on ground floor. There is a cosy lounge/dining room, with an open fire, tartan carpeting and two armchairs. A futon converts into an additional single bed. The lounge also has a TV  and a speaker box with ipod docking.

Folding doors lead from the living room to the bedroom. The room has a comfortable double bed, wall shelves, two cupboards and a radio/CD player. 

Small but well equipped. The kitchen has a fridge, sink, water heater, cooking facilities (2-ring hob and a combination microwave oven and grill) and a small amount of storage space. One load of personal laundry can be arranged on request.

The bathroom has a roomy shower, toilet, wash-hand basin and a heated electric towel rail.

A rear door from the communal hallway gives access to a porch, and to the communal enclosedgarden. Garden chairs are available from the porch.  To the front of the appartment is a raised grass area, overlooking the sea, which can be used by guests.

Pets. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Millport is a very dog friendly place. Dogs are allowed on the beach even in high season but do make sure you clean up after your pooch or you will be “told”. You can go into many of the shops with a dog and there are also outdoor eating areas at most of the restaurants, cafés and bars.

Parking – Sorry –  only on-street parking.   Parking for unloading and loading is allowed in front of the cottages. Suggestions for the best places for on -street parking will be found in the apartment.

For fire regulations and for the comfort of all guests. We have a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy for the cottage. Strictly no smoking or vaping (even out of the windows!) If you do smoke or vape, we will charge you separately for the deep-cleaning of the cottage.
